In 2006, Tom Worrell consolidated his ownership of Living Machine® systems, along with other water treatment technologies, into the newly formed company Worrell Water Technologies, LLC (WWT). This new company integrates over a decade of experience by Living Designs Group and its predecessors as well as the engineers and scientists whose years of effort have led to the development of this proprietary technology. WWT works with a variety of clients worldwide to design and install Living Machine systems that provide ecological, energy efficient wastewater and storm water treatment.
In October 2006, WWT acquired the HydroSecure™ technology and the intellectual property associated with it. By early 2007, over twenty professionals were working together to broaden the markets and applications for Living Machine systems and to continue to develop proprietary technology for water purification and protection.
